Dr. Chris Williamson

Chris Williamson is the founder and senior pastor of Strong Tower Bible Church, a multidimensional fellowship in Nashville, Tennessee. Since 1995, Pastor Chris has been passionate about leading Strong Tower Bible Church (STBC) to be a difference maker for the Lord locally and globally. His transparency, humility and unique gift of communicating God’s Word in a sound and relevant manner is what attracts many people to STBC.
Pastor Chris earned his B.A. in Biblical Studies from Liberty University, his Master of Religious Education from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Regent University’s School of Business and Leadership. He was ordained in 1992 under Dr. Allen McFarland and Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Virginia, and for six years was a member of the pioneer Christian rap group Transformation Crusade.
Pastor Chris has preached in various churches, colleges, conferences and outreach events all over the United States. He has also ministered abroad in Sudan, Ghana, Benin, Israel, Malawi, the Caribbean, Nigeria, South Africa, Haiti, and England. Pastor Chris is often called upon to preach in chapels for high schools, colleges, and professional sports teams. He has also authored two books: Making Disciples Who Make a Difference and One But Not The Same: God’s Diverse Kingdom Come Through Race, Class, and Gender.
Pastor Chris and his lovely wife Dorena live in Franklin, TN and have four beautiful children: Dante, Christa, Chase, and Charis.

What do you do for fun?  Travel with and date my wife, collect comic books, and watch Kung-Fu movies
