Outreach

The mission field needs Christians, and Christians also need the mission field. Every believer has the responsibility and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to be a witness for Christ in word and deed. Regardless of age, every Christian has a role to play in local, national, and international missions and outreach.

Our Philosophy

STBC’s Missions and Outreach philosophy is holistic in its approach to sharing the gospel. The gospel is the “good news” that God has made a way to forgive sinners of all of their sins through the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. A holistic approach to sharing the gospel expresses care for the whole of a person: mind, body, soul, and spirit. The social aspect of the gospel causes us to learn about, address, and help to change the conditions contributing to despair for individuals and communities.

Monthly Food Pantry

I John 3:18 – “My children, let us not love in word or in speech, but in action and truth.”

This school year (2023-2024) we have added another school to our Food Pantry partnerships.  This means we are supporting at least 50 families and 20 seniors with immediate needs and that number will likely increase as the summer approaches.  We would like to partner with you to provide for the families in need within our community.  Every month families and seniors will get a monthly food box that covers everyday essentials they may be lacking.

We would love for you to partner with us!  This season we are offering the opportunity for our community to contribute towards the cost of these boxes of love.  Please see our giving options below or contact LaSonya Thompson with further questions.  LaSonya@stbch.org

Thank you so much for supporting our community and those in need.
