Facilitators: Pastor Dorena Williamson, Drs. Jermaine Soto & Mona Ivey-Soto
This engaging, interactive discussion-based class will call us into action as we think bigger and act bolder in loving our neighbors. We will read Dr. Emily Smith's book "The Science of the Good Samaritan", which shares dynamic research and powerful stories from Dr. Smith, an epidemiologist, on her global work within developing nations. The book weaves intentional connections between the biblical parable of the Good Samaritan and our current context of neighboring and bridging the gaps of society's disparities and inequities.
